We subscribe to the notion that the single most important competency that leaders in our ecosystem have is self-awareness. Specifically crucial is the awareness of the needs of the three sets of groups that leaders serve in their day to day: Internal Employees, External Customers and Corporate Stakeholders.
Achieving a high satisfaction with the folks in each of the “needs groups” allows business leaders to put their efforts on strategic growth and business continuity as opposed to “firefighting” day to day issues with employees, customers and/or stakeholders.
Effectus recommends that all leaders periodically do the thought exercise to map both the needs that exist as well as the right tactics which tackle meeting the needs.
